2. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and used when you use the App. We do not collect names, email addresses, or account data.
Third-party service providers integrated into the App automatically collect certain information. This processing is required for app functionality, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and purchase management.
3. Age Requirement (13+)
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the App.
4. Information We Do Not Collect
We explicitly confirm that we do not request, collect, or store:
Your name, email address, or phone number
Your physical address
User accounts or login credentials
5. Information Collected by Third Parties
The App uses third-party providers that automatically collect the following data types for the purposes described in Section 6:
Identifiers: Device identifiers (GAID/IDFA), Installation IDs, and IP addresses
Commercial Information: Purchase history and Remove Ads entitlement status (via RevenueCat)
Usage and Diagnostics: App interactions, crash logs, and performance metrics
Location: Approximate location (derived from IP address) for advertising relevance
6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Consent: We request consent for personalized advertising through Google AdMob from users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time by opening Settings → Privacy preferences in the App and confirming your choices.
On iOS, Apple’s tracking permission is a separate choice. You can change it under iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Changing this Apple setting does not change the consent choices saved in the App’s Privacy preferences.
Legitimate Interests: Used for crash reporting (Firebase), analytics, and fraud prevention.
Contract Performance: Used for processing your purchases (RevenueCat).

Data Transfers: These providers may transfer data to the USA. Such transfers are protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (for Google) or Standard Contractual Clauses (for RevenueCat).
8. Data Retention & Deletion
We do not store personal data ourselves.
AdMob/Firebase: Data is retained according to Google's policies
RevenueCat: Purchase history and entitlement information are retained to manage and restore your permanent Remove Ads purchase. Note that financial transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations (Bundesabgabenordnung), even if you request deletion of your user profile.
8.5 Automated Decision-Making
The App does not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.
Note: Ad personalization by Google AdMob is based on automated processing, but you can opt out at any time (Section 10).
9. Your Rights Under GDPR
You have the following rights: Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Objection, Data Portability, and Withdrawal of Consent.
Technical Limitation:
We do not collect identifying information (name, email, or account). Therefore, we cannot identify individual users in third-party systems.
How to Exercise Your Rights:
Advertising & Analytics Data:
To change your advertising consent or opt-out choices, open Settings → Privacy preferences in the App. Device-level advertising controls are described in Section 10.
Changing or deleting an advertising identifier does not itself delete previously collected advertising or analytics data. For access or deletion requests, contact support@startabloc.com. We will assess your request and explain any information needed to locate the relevant records.
Purchase Data:
Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Austrian tax law (BAO §132) and cannot be deleted under GDPR Article 17(3)(b).
Apple and Google maintain separate payment records. To request deletion:

10. Ad Preferences & Privacy Controls
You can manage your advertising privacy choices without purchasing Remove Ads. Changing these choices does not necessarily stop advertisements from appearing.
EEA, UK and Switzerland
Go to Settings → Privacy preferences in the App to reopen the European consent form. You can review, change or withdraw your consent and confirm your choices. Depending on your choices and applicable requirements, ads may still be served with restricted use of your data.
US State Privacy Choices
Our advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP addresses and app activity for personalized advertising. This processing may constitute “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under applicable US state privacy laws.
If you are in a supported US state, go to Settings → Privacy preferences, select “Don’t sell or share my data”, and tap “Save and close”. This communicates your advertising opt-out choice through Google’s consent management system. You can reopen this screen to review or change your choice.
You do not need to purchase Remove Ads to exercise this choice. Opting out does not remove advertising; ads may still appear with restricted use of your data.

iOS Tracking Controls
Go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to manage whether this App may track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Apple’s tracking permission is separate from the choices in the App’s Privacy preferences. Turning tracking off does not remove ads or delete previously collected data.
Android Advertising Controls
You can manage your advertising identifier through your Android device’s settings. The location and available options vary by Android version and device manufacturer; search Settings for “Ads” or “Advertising ID”.
Changing or deleting an advertising identifier does not itself withdraw the choices saved in the App’s Privacy preferences, delete previously collected data, or make you anonymous.
Remove Ads
To remove advertisements from this game, purchase the permanent, one-time Remove Ads in-app purchase. This purchase is separate from your privacy choices.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
For material changes affecting your rights, we will:
Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
Display a one-time notification in the App when you next open it
Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
